Sam, Bio

So there I was, born in the 80’s, raised in the 90’s, but didn’t hit my prime till the turn of the millennia. Youngest in the family I grew up getting my way often. Especially coming from a relatively wealthy family living in the suburbs of Boston. I’ll admit it. I was a little spoiled. But not badly enough that I turned into a brat. My parent’s strong values kept me on the right path and I ended up at one of the best small liberal arts colleges in the country. Carleton College, in the sunshine state of Minnesota. Wait, I said that wrong, I meant: the snowy, freeze-your-nose-hair state of Minnesota!

Four years of that and I was ready to take on the world. I didn’t have a plan so I jumped at the opportunity my uncle Jim gave me to come bartend at his new hotel all the way out in sunny Seattle. Scratch that. Rainy Seattle. But oh well. I loved that city. I really did, but eventually I got homesick for my friends and family back in Boston.

Nowadays I’m living in Cambridge, continuing to enjoy bar tending, and starting to get that itch that it might be time to move again. Maybe I’ll finally go somewhere warm.
